Company Store

Welcome to the Piedmont Junction Company Store. If you are new to Mid-Eastern Region conventions, this is the place for selling your excess model train inventory. There are two selling options: the always fun and exciting silent auction. Or, set a “Buy-It-Now” price.  Sell faster and get paid sooner.

If you are planning to sell your new condition, excess inventory at the convention, completing the attached forms will make intake quicker and easier. Here are the links:

Preregistration must be submitted by Sunday, October 13th. After that sale items can by presented at the hours indicated below.

Sale item guidelines:

·         New or like-new condition.

·         New old stock, unused, will be fine.

·         Antique or vintage items will be acceptable.

·         Only model railroad or prototype related items.

·         Minimum $10. Items can be bundled to achieve the minimum price.

·         No “coffee table” books please.

Company Store hours for submitting sale items, purchasing, or just browsing are:

·         Thursday, October 17th, from Noon to 9 pm.

·         Friday, October 18th, from 9 am to 9 pm.

·         Saturday, October 19th, from 9 am to 3 pm.

·         Sunday, October 20th, from 9 am to 1 pm.

Company Store notes:

·         Heavy coats, backpacks, briefcases, etc. will not be allowed in the Company Store. A volunteer will be available at the entrance to provide guidance.

·         The convention charges a 15% commission of items sold.

·         Payment is cash or check only.

·         Cash transactions will be rounded to the nearest whole dollar.

·         Participants might choose to photograph their submitted items along with the item tag.

·         The auction will close at 3 pm on Saturday. Results will be posted on the door as soon as they are available.

In addition to the sale items, the Piedmont Junction will have dozens of raffle prizes from manufacturers and hobby shops. Tickets will be available for $1 or six for $5. Tickets will be sold at the Company Store. The raffle drawings will be held after 3 pm on Saturday. Results of the drawings will be posted  when available.

The Company Store will be supervised by volunteers and the room will be locked in the off hours. However, the Mid-Eastern Region, Carolina Piedmont Division, and the Piedmont Junction cannot assume responsibility for any of the submitted items.
